About Us
Matatlan "Mata" Streetwear was founded in June 2023 by Hugo Canseco and Luis Gomez, high schoolers in South Central Los Angeles, California. We started with custom printing and shirt designing made in-house for customers. We have taken the initiative to develop our streetwear by creating unique drawings inspired by the city of Los Angeles and production through partnerships with factories across downtown Los Angeles to get the materials necessary to make our ideas come to fruition.
As a business, we take pride in selling streetwear designed and produced by us, taking requests for custom printing designs, and making customer ideas come to fruition.
